There are at least 186 bodies unrecovered on the mountain.
On dry years you can see bodies stick out of the snow.

What is concerning is the refusal of climbers to put off their climb in order to help people. This guy was on his way down and rest assured had he been on the way up he wouldn't have stopped.

Mek, that's a lot of generalizing there.... I don't like it when people are overly patriotic, but then again, there's also no need to criticize or trivialize a good deed.
These "because its there ppl" are ok as long as they don't expect a multi million pound rescue mission when they mess up, which the rest of us have to fund.
So you have a chip on your shoulder, maybe a small weenier and have to climb the largest falic symbol on earth to make up for your inadequacies.
Either way. Ppl who go on round the world sailing expeditions alone, should be allowed to drown if they mess up, just as small dicked mountain climbers should be allowed to freeze when they mess up.
