Meh. I used to get pissed off about the grenade launchers, but I decided I wanted to get my vet badges in everything before I put any more time into the medic kit. Figured this would be the best time to get time in assault before they nerf the noob tube. I must say, getting killed by it doesn't irritate me nearly as much anymore, except when they kill themselves doing it. Only time I get pissed, because then it's rather obvious that, god damn, they suck. :p I actually like the change they've made to it, too. Bouncing it off of walls when I go for expert later on is going to be hells of fun, and I'm pretty damn good with it at distance.

I hate the GL too , but i use it somethimes, just too rack up some kills! But now when EA gets their finger out and the 1.2 patch comesw out it will be more fun playing, butt remember it will still detonate at direct hitts!

No, they're adding an arming distance. It now bounces off of the wall/floor if it hasn't gone far enough, and explodes on the next thing it hits, after it's reached said distance, as far as I could tell from the video I saw.slimer wrote:

Dolphin divers, the M95, the M24, TOWs blowing you up in your spawn killing choppers, spawn killing choppers, blackhawks, the crap PLA and MEC transport helicopters, the TV guided missles, Jets, Jet whores, Tkers, People who TK for vehicles, spawn killers, bunny hoppers, tank whores, apc whores, n00b tubes, AA, jets, AT's going through vehicles, tank reversing, reversing APC's, TOW lagg, M16's, the US team, the MEC team, the PLA team, ground defence, c4 frisbies, jihad jeeps, the AK101, G3's, frag grenades, lagg, shit teams, newbs, n00bs, people better than you, BF2 in general, crap pilots, good pilots, crap gunners, good gunners, the 50. machine gun, vodniks, hummers, PKM's, SAW's, the fact BF2 isn't realistic, the time it takes to load a game, the time it takes to leave a game, your K/D ration, your crap stats in general, being owned, other peoples stats, runway pixies, your graphics card....

I DO use the Gl but :
- not in close combat
- I don't bunny hop
- I don't dolphin dive
- I aim almost perfectly and rarely miss a target (4 years playing medal of honor and using the german gewehrgranate are not useless).
I think assault kit needs this extra feature, they don't have frag grenades, any kind of explosive device.
My favourite kit it, though, engineer.
