So here I am, innocently looking for a Wake server. However, unlike some, I check the scoreboard before entering.

I love getting on the receiving end and trying to SRAW them as they are making their strafing runs. Or getting in a AA gun as an engineer and blowing them out of the sky. Obviously you take a penalty on your stats, but stats are for feeble minded nerds that need them to boost their ego in whatever way possible.

BTW did you notice my awesomes stats?

Wake Island is fine, The USMC team just needs to know where to land and not waste to much time. As soon as 1 flag is turned (Bleed stopped) before the tickets are 15 appart the game is good.

Gulf of Ohman however is very unfair...

Since every flag gets vehicles, if the MEC takes all the bases its almost impossible for USMC to get a flag or recover to win the game.

Because as soon as one of thoes flags turn white you got a Bomber/APCs/ and Attack Chopper comming in to give you a bad day

I actually just had fun on wake for the second time ever (the first being the medic vs snipers competition) There were about 15 teammates on the carrier, and ff was off, so instead of hunting J-10's I decided to start ramming people off the carrier. You might be surprised to know that teammates can fly surprisingly far when hit by a jet going full speed. people even joined in in the end

Some wake games are doomed from the beginning. It does not take more than 1 good pilot to dominate the round.
Also the lack of people spawning as anti tank and spec-ops leaves the USMC side very vulnerable.
And of course the eternal "waiting for jet and attack chopper" guys who just can`t seem to understand that waiting on the carrier does not help your team! there is boats ready to deploy!!
