Low income, and some high income depending on lifestyle/area of work (such as actors and what not).
Prodominately from urban areas, particularly poorer areas.
Probably would be willing to give up some personal freedoms, especially in the form of monatary freedom through taxes, in exchange for balancing wealth and power in society.
Views on law and order is a tricky one. For the most part I would have to say that it's someone who wants a little more flexibility in the law, but it contrasts with the view point of using the law to balance out society, so I can't really put a finger on this question.
The younger generation seems to be the group that supports the democratic party the most.

Urban v Rural: i would say both, but mostly urban/suburban from my experiences
Personal Freedom: higher level of personal freedom. live and let live mentality
Views On Law And Order: wants flexibility in law and order, would like to see some changes in laws
Age: 18-45 ish.

I find this hilarious as the Republicans have introduced the "Patriot" Act, illegal phone tapping of US citizens and the illegal reading of mail of US citizens...

These days, the people who vote Democrat are the ones who don't necessarily know what they want, but are tired of Bush & co. screwing things up.
