Yes, correcting grammatical errors of peoples' posts may get annoying, but I can testify that it is a slight pet peeve to see horrible grammar and a little mistake may spark that reaction to fix it.
Back to the post, yes he acted like a dick, yes everyone said so. It's about time we got over it. When you're young and drunk, you'll inevitably do stupid, idiotic things. Maybe won't realize it at the time, but I'm pretty sure (hopefully) that the person will realize and regret the decision and then move on. Nothing we can do and insulting the person in question doesn't make things any better. It's a story on the Internet, flaming him will have very little effect on what he does and so it's probably not worth the effort isn't it?
