the a5 is a good gun if you want to make it the best ,buy a flatline barrel and low pressure kits for it works good for woods arenas or anywhere almost forgot buy the response trigger

the only thing that was fun was the real thing and first person shooters.

Get into RAM instead.
(teaching myself how to use GIMP, decided to engage in a little self-parody today)

(RAM > (airsoft && paintball));

looks like a good deal
Ahh another tippmann,the A5 is ok but still trying to be a real gun.
Anyway to put you all right its Paintball>Airsoft.

tippman a5 is a great gum for customizing...check these pics for what you CAN do with it, if you have the money...if not...its still a good gun to have..im getting a spyder MR-1 myself, with the m4 barrel...but the a5's looks sexier

The Tippmann A5 looks great, I'll admit, especially with all those customized features, such as stocks and "magazines", but as far as the price (for all those customized features), I'd rather spend my money on a marker that shoots faster. Besides, I prefer the looks of the more expensive markers to the A5's that attempt to look like real firearms.
A Tippmann A5 is good buy for its original price. Don't bother with all that fancy stuff. Don't bother if you are a tournament or speedball guy- Go for an ION, or even cheaper Spyders and Piranhas can do better in speedball.

I have a 98 custom and I love it.
Tippman 98 FTW! Shoot great, very reliable, and you can mod the heck out of em, take a look!
