server has refused connection... and i can't fix it!!

Ok, yes i've searched, but i can't find any other solutions other than "re-install" or "re-patch" or "get a better connection"

and i've DONE all that (except the better connection thing, mine is fine)

check your security settings. If they're too restrictive, you can't communicate with other servers.

the brand name or whatever for your modem, i have one but it doesnt have a stable enough connection sometimes and i keep loosing connection and then cant get a connection and stuff like that

oh, no, i have a SpeedStream 5200, Ethernet/USB ADSL Modem

and it has Efficient Networks next to that

well, unless that is a d-link.. idk

ok iwent through this when i reformated. when i load bf2 in i didnt close my anti virus so i uninstalled bf2 and the shut off my anti virus and reloaded bf2 whaalaa it would connect
