I say G5 but it depends which one you want, the one button or the two button
MX518, don't listen to the G5 fanboys. More buttons = win

i'm getting a new mouse! another button! yippee! the g5 rocks and another button - yes!
i need to get out more. :-(
on the mx518, what's that button for, the one with little squares on, below the bottom sensitivity button? that's a pretty good mouse actually by the look of it and i don't think i have ever used over 1600dpi. i like the double thumb button on left hand side, but you can now get that on the g5 as evidenced. i'll stick with the g5!

Im getting an Mx518 this weekend, 40$ at compusa. I went for over three years with an old microsoft Intellimouse that finally died last week, if I could find it Id probably pick the same one up, and itd be cheap.
Im kinda intrested in trying out an expensive gaming mouse, hell ive been using a really old memorex 'ball mouse' since my optical took out, still pwning.

G5 all the way, just be sure it's the G5 refresh, not that old ugly one!
