Five Britons have been kidnapped from Iraq's finance ministry in Baghdad, the British government has confirmed.

Those abducted include four bodyguards from security company GardaWorld and a finance expert.

Witnesses and sources told the BBC that the kidnappers wore police uniforms and arrived in up to 40 police vehicles.

Well, 40 police vehicles as well as kidnappers wearing police uniforms. They must've got them from somewhere, you can't get that amount of hardware by stealing/killing for it (surely?)

"God" is an idea - more often than anything else. And demonstrating it is anything other than an idea is impossible. So yeah the idea of "God" is the idea responsible for this [recent, and other] nonsense.

a lot of the case its just uniforms. we were cracking down on guys selling Police and army uniforms out in the markets in baghdad. im guessing its still pretty easy to make/get hold of still. all it is is a light blue long sleeve shirt and navy blue slacks.

Hell I could make an Iraqi police uniform, you can get your hands on anything these days. As for those kidnapped I wouldn't be too surprised if they were found dead, it is Baghdad after all. Virtually anyone who goes missing there is dead with a few exceptions.
