To ease the minds of Americans who think that all their public figures are idiots I introduce to you a Mr. Brian Tamaki.
This aforementioned stupid cunt is the leader of the "Destiny Church", a group of close-minded and ignorant Christians, (nothing against Christians, just the closed-minded and ignorant ones,) who have recently called for New Zealand to be officially proclaimed a Christian nation, insisting that New Zealand was founded on Christian values.
While this seems innocent enough, the fact remains that in no point in our history has there been anything to suggest such a thing. With the Maori people coming to NZ whenever they did and the European settlers simply using the country for whores, alcohol, whaling and trees. I'd have to say that God was, if anything, completely vacant from Aotearoa in it's early years. As a scholar of early New Zealand history I have to say that never before in any other topic in history that I personally have studied have I seen more use of the term "God-forsaken".
Mr. Tamaki, or has he prefers to be known, "Reverend" or even "Pope" Tamaki, is well known and documented for being a stupid cunt as well as having a perchance for inventing history. As most closed-minded fundamentalist Christians he is pursuing this mythical land where Christian moral values reign supreme. It in believed by Mr. Tamaki that he can find this land in 1950s New Zealand - a land where households consist of a Christian married couple and 2.5 children, two cars in the garage and not a homosexual in sight. In his stance on history and homosexuals he has claimed that pre-colonisation Maori exterminated homosexuals, a claim which has since been dispute by everyone who isn't Brian Tamaki. Likewise his views on women are somewhat controversial, saying that men taking a backward step and women getting some form of control both in private and political fields is the "work of the Devil." Whether this claim can dispute the fact that he apparently has an S&M fetish in which Pastor Hannah Tamaki takes the dominant role has yet to be determined.
He is also incredibly well known for being a stupid cunt in his methods of getting his messages across. When the Civil Union Bill was going through the house of Parliament giving the same rights in law to gay and de-facto relationships as married ones, he organised a massive march consisting of Destiny Church members, (and other opposition of the bill,) dressed in black, red and white T-shirts displaying the phrase ,"Enough is Enough" as well as uniformly shouting their message. What these protesters had had enough of was never made clear, (after being asked what it meant by the press many protesters either fell silent or went off on a tangent,) most likely the all knowing Brian didn't remember to tell them what he meant. The fact remains that this display of hatred and intolerance got holocaust survivors and victims of Nazi persecution in Europe having flashbacks, (true story.)
Brian Tamaki has been voted the least trusted person in New Zealand more than once now despite trying to act a messiah figure to the lost multitudes of my twisted little country. Why this could be? Well I have my theories. I could possibly been because of the $40,000 which he used to take a luxury cruise on the Queen Mary II which was paid for by some Pastors of his church, it could be because of the made-up truths, it could be because of the incredible income Destiny Church seems to amount for a religious group or it could possibly be the man's conduct, often snapping at reporters and abusing public figures, (one of which has compared him to Robert Mugabe.) This alone should shed light on the fact that even his wife has tried to kill him but there's more! Brian opposes treatment for AIDS because of his old-fashioned belief that AIDS is God's way of smiting homosexuals. Nor is that all, this reliance in the Almighty God prevents many Destiny Church members from going to the doctor to cure their illnesses. What ever happened to the well known passage, "God helps those who help themselves". They should have also written "God has no patience for stupid cunts like Brian Tamaki" because of the infant mortality rates of babies not given medical care because of the reliance of help from above because of twats like Brian Tamaki feeding ignorant people bullshit.
Brian's views and his actions have made him into a cult-leader for ignorant and close-minded stupid cunts like himself who teach hate towards homosexuals, environmentalists, other religions, other christian groups, atheists, people in the medical profession and in general anyone who isn't either Brian Tamaki or engaged in the act of kissing Brian Tamaki's arse.
As one protester put it at some rally on giving civil liberties to some oppressed minority which the almighty, (aka, Brian Tamaki,) disagreed with: He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy.
