Best map for 10 repair points?

due to the amount of help on a simliar topic today. I am asking for more advice

as title suggests...

Ive only managed 6 repair points and cant see myself getting 10

What mao and curcumstances did u get ut Vet Eng?

There are about 4 ways to get your vet engy badge easy enough.

1. Get onboard a helo and fly around in the back seat and reapair damage as occurs.

2. Get in a wheeled vehilce (i.e. hummer) ride around as rear passenger and repair damage as occurs, oh and prey you don't run into a tank...

3. Get in any vehicle as driver and follow around tanks/apc's and auto repair them as they take damage (someone has to be in the vehicle to recieve repair points).

4. Hang out on city maps at your main and repair your commanders toys over and over, you will get 1 repair point for each time you completely restore an arty piece etc.

5. Finally, search the forums for countless ways to pat stad and get your points that way....

hope you chose one of the first 4....

I managed mine on a full 64 man Kubra Dam map. Suppose I was lucky 'cos the artillary and other base assets were getting plenty of C4 chucked at them. In between I repaired vehicles around the dam area. I managed to get the basic and vet on one go. Busy day for a chimp like me!

I took my Veteran Repair Badge on Ghost Town.
Many thanks to my squad leader tat nssted to let me take the badge when I told him that I was 2 rep points from it with 5 tickets left. When I took it, the end view came up.

I have managed to get 19 repair points IAR on Warlord. So I suggest Warlord if you have SF...

I dont often do thinks like this but...

I didnt realise u auto repair if u r in the back (not driving)

that doesnt apply when u r gunning in a tank or in a chopper?

i actually tried this but it wont repair while I am in any seat. tried sitting in all 3 and no auto reapair

becuase you need another person in the vehicle... cheap way to get it too. Just play on a 32 person wake island as the chinese. Plenty of tanks to repair as wells as assets that get c4ed non stop

yeah well i think you can manage 10 with repairing commander assets and your teams vehicles but how in thw world do you get 25 with out driving a HUMMV into the water and getting in the back and repairing?

you need a very lucky round...but i know it can be done i got 26 repair points one round....just didnt have 100h as engineer much less 250 repair points.

Karkand. Get in an APC or MBT with engineering, buddy up with another guy doing the same. Stick near each other all the time for constant repairs, and go into an area with a heavy enemy concentration but not close enough to any walls a spec-ops dude could sneak around. Then hope you have quick enough reflexes to kill all the AT guys that will be constantly firing on you. That's how I got my veteran badge, just barely made 10 points near the end of the round.

25 points though? I don't think it's possible to do it legit, I dont care how lucky you are.

I got 18 in 1 round on karkand a few days ago trying for the 25. I took a jeep and just spent the entire map driving around looking for stuff to repair, and if I came under attack, I'd try to get away to a safer area, sit in the very back seat of the jeep and repair it, then drive back to the action. I could quite possibly have gotten the 25, if for some reason the guy that was driving our tank for most of the round didnt keep driving off to get wasted when I was trying to repair him. This was on a 64 player server with around 25-30 people playing by the end of the map (round started with 10).

Another way I can think of (which I cant try myself) is to come play on our server (online-assault.com) and play US on Gulf of oman, as I always bomb the crap out of the artillery on that map playing as MEC (no-one else bothers, hence why I cant try it myself), so you'll have a constant stream of stuff to repair, only prob is I'll probly bomb the crap out of you while you repair it :-)

I got mine on sharqi. Hang around where the MEC heli spawns, Jackhammer to the face of spec ops coming then repair by sitting in a vodnik near the assets.

i have a friend who's ranked in the top 100 globaly with mobile AA. we formed a locked squad, he was the squad leader. he hopped into a mobile AA unit i spawned on him as engi, pulled out my wrench and got busy keeping him alive and spotting.

another good way is to hop in a buggy (my favorite transport because they are so agile and fast) or APC then find a tank or APC (hopefully 2). get in nice and close and follow them around all map. hopefully you end up in a group of about 2-3 tanks. (personal note:don't get directly behind a tank...they like to run you over when they encounter an enemt tank). one of the best maps for this style is songhua stalemate.

The best I have done is 19 in a round on Warlord as Insurgents.

The enemy kept blowing our assets, and I drove around repairing them. Got points for killing special forces guys, but they kept coming back.

Other than that the most I have is less than 10 IAR. Once I have my time in I will try harder to get the necessary repair points.

got mine at oman was (mec) spec ops came for a visit on assets i fixed them they kept comin back so i kept repairing. the oppurtunity was there so i took it.
