BF2S Forums mods

SF is an expansion pack and ranked.
AF is a booster pack and ranked.
EF is a booster pack and ranked.
No mods are ranked.

There is a ranking system though on PR (Project Reality) I think but it has no impact on Bf2 vanilla/SF/EF/AF.

Do you self a favor and think how important the stats really are to you ?
If you come to a conclusion that they are not all that important than try out mods. They are MUCH MUCH better than the original game.
If you feel that your gaming is all about stats and not about fun than you are going to be stuck in Karkand until you go gray.
But to answer your question, Armored Fury, Euro Forces and Special forces are all EA ranked.
Mods are not EA ranked, but most of them have some form of ranking.

If you like to wait 30 seconds to respawn and not play with a kit you like because someone else has it, play PR.

People dont have to play PR James they can play something else. Even Dcon in its alpha state is better than 24/7 IO FF OFF Karkand. Or play POE2. To each his own of course, but I personally cant think of any other reason why someone would play hundreds of hours of Karkand IO FF Off, except for the stats.

I never saw a game with less accepted mods than BF2. The main reason - stats. On these very forums at least 20 people asked "why should I play it if it doesn't count to my stats?" People who ask that are just dumb and there is no reason to sugarcoat it.

hell i know a few people that play karkand because they enjoy the combat it gives the mwhen on a well admined server

I play karkand because most flags are in well designed locations and even in a game full of useless noobs it's still a challenge to cap hotel/square easily.

Plus it's fun to baserape on karkand.
