an auto svd macro would be lame
but an macro fucks up accuracy. you can't hit anything with an automatic svd, only works good for m16 when on single. the thing that an autoclick macro really works wel for is the tv-missile.
do you just move your mouse then ?']['error wrote:

No, running driver software is not cheating... don't be obtuse.surgeon_bond wrote:

If you can run a program and shoot more times than I can with the exact same weapon per click you are cheating and that is exactly what a macro allows you to do.
depends do you have fat fingers ?ReTox wrote:

if you need a macro you obv feel you cant play the game without it (same as someone who requires a hack tool / illegal game tweak cos they cant compete naturally) or that you lack what others use sheer skill to acheive, whether it is switching out to medpacks or tv guiding a missile.
Yeah. thats why I only use my macros to open xfire. Enter ~ comands. and switch around the views on the veichles im in.baggs wrote:

theres no need to use a macro for anything in this game, if ur using one.............no matter what for, ur cheating and ur lame, even if ur using it just to swich camera views in a vehicle
if it gives u adventage over other players its cheating, not hard to understand

Someone with a Quad Xeon 3 Ghz. 30" screen. 2x8800GT 256mb, 4Gb ram, is then by your standards also cheating.[AH1z]PJ wrote:

u can see better when u play on low anyways and if u dont get good fps then u should not be playing the game
Who are you to judge who should not be playing the game?[AH1z]PJ wrote:

Im just saying that if ur lagging and cant see too far, you should not be saying stuff like "people with better PCs will always own"
coz ur not forced to play the game
there are so many people that can play the game on max but they lower their settings just so they can see better, that imo is as lame as it gets
Not really as lame as it gets. I could probably play on medium if i wanted, but i'd rather play on Low.[AH1z]PJ wrote:

I'll have the last laugh when i always get whatever vehicle i want at the start of a round.
No, I have that on my Razer Copperhead.RDMC(2) wrote:

But macros are lame.

Must be cheating when:
Raptor to load first.
MX518 so I can 180 prone real quick and turn those turrets fast.
its sad when people cheat, its even more sad when people dont understand simple shitIlocano wrote:

Loading first isn't something completely measurable, but I should tell you that I've seen a friend's computer about a year ago that loaded faster than some servers, and he was subsequently kicked/disconnected for loading too quickly. Now, I think most servers are up to speed (or I haven't seen a really kick ass computer lately... hehehe). Likewise, admins can modify the time for the match to begin for a more level playing field (it just isn't very popular), and ALL matches are set to start with a minimum number of players.Ilocano wrote:

Mouse sensitivity is something that can be adjusted in game, through the game, by everyone.
I have a G5 mouse, and I gotta tell you that going above the game sensitivities is just rediculous. It's more likely gonna get you killed before being useful. I learned that real quick. Thus, I believe my sensitivities are all set within 50-100 dpi of each other, and I use them out of game on mundane stuff more than in game.
Plain and simple, macros are something outside the scope of most players. Use one if you like, but don't try to seriously justify them as fair.
I use one for the TV missile, just point click and hold whilst dragging. Takes alot of getting used to over just clicking but works pretty well.
Pre 1.3 i had a dolphin diving marco rarely used it thought mostly for laughs. I also had a rapid fire marco so that once you click you don't have to click again to shoot just hold the button down.
Hardware has nothing to do with this topic. Macro supported tools are all software based.Ilocano wrote:

What does matter is when you hit a macro'd bind and are able to shoot twice for everytime I can only shoot once. Even when we use the same weapon on the same fire setting. And it is because of the fact that BF2 doesn't allow you to bind to a "mouse up" message where a macro recorder/scripter does. That's the cheating part.
My rapid fire marco i had worked like that but i can use tv well so i dont need it.-=]DeatH1337[=- wrote:

Mine works for pretty much everything though. Spotting multiple enemies, rapid fire single shot/brurst, don't work too well on guns like the MG36 or PKM it's like they stutter.The_Killer wrote:
