My BS meter went off. Unless your dad did some work to that Z06 that car only has 400hp. The C5 Z06's only got 400hp, the C6 Z06's are the ones making 505hp. And there is a HUGE difference between the C5 Z06 and the C6 Z06. I've driven both and the C6 feels like a race car, the C5 feels like a sports car.

My dad has an '07 ZO6 (in the ugly yellow). I must say, the stock rims are way nicer than what you got on thier now, and the hood is kinda tacky. Other than that, nice ride.

I've got a lot of respect for the new Z06, it can hang with the top end Porsche's and Ferrari's on the track quite well, but it costs a fraction of those cars.

Oh, and you may beat a Porsche, or whatever you were going on about, in a straight line, but try take that thing round a corner and you'll see why they cost more. Speed in a straight line isn't very useful in the real world, only if your into streetracing.

As ive already said, the highest porche has ever done is .9 G's of force. Thus, you inexperience and lack of true knowledge leads you to believe that because a car says its good, looks good, or costs a few hundred thousand, doesnt mean it performs any better then what you can get for under 50k
As for the idea that ALL corvette owners are assholes?? thats a very bad stereotype, there may be a lot of older guys who've worked hard in life and can afford one now, but a love for corvettes doesn't vary by age.
My dad owns 2 corvettes now, and hes not old nor is he an asshole, and he could run with any exotic car you throw at us. I wouldn't garentee a win on EVERYTHING, but dont count us out. Stock Z06's can hit a top speed of around 175 MPH. Now, thats excluding the supercharger.
