I have a Line 6 Guitar port connected to my machine so every map change, I sit and play solos over the intro music while waiting for the map to load.  They are decent tracks to solo over....  although my solos have gotten significantly shorter since upgrading to 4 gigs RAM and a Raptor drive.

I have the mp3 files for every loading song. They are in one of the zipped files and such and you need an audio converter to play it. I have em on MP3, so pm me if you need them.

i don't hate the loadin music, but BFV songs were awesome, it really make you feel in that era

I hate it when it takes so long to load a map the song replays (nearly every time I have to optimize shaders for best performance).

Normaly I turn it off and just listin to somthing on winamp.  Origa, Covenant, Apocalyptica, Eliza Carthy, The Dead Can Dance, Opeth.  The usual radio stuff. . .

well i got some tips for ya but only for the ones that has a Keyboard with media buttons on it!

i have winamp with a hell of a Playlist
i muted the BF2 music
u minimalize the functions of Winamp (visualizer and shit) put ur Playlist on
just when ur in BF2 you just switch music by pressing the buttons on ur Keyboard < > advance track buttons

so when i load a map i keep loving to hear the Classic ''COMMAND AND CONQUER - HELL MARCH track

in game i listing mostly

Morbid angel
Slayer
Pantera
Opeth
And other Death Metal / heavy metal music

If you go down to the Community section in the forums main you will see the section titled "Tech".  Inside there is a sticky that deals with the sound files that should get you started.


I like the music.  I went and reinstalled all my BF's and expansion packs just to get the sound files.  I even extracted the sound from the intro movies and burned them all to a cd to listen to while I drive (the best intro is Special Forces).

I also am going to have the rebels victory music as my ringtone and some of the voice commands from BFV as a couple of others.

Yes I am pathetic but I love the sounds of BF.  I am not sure how people can play and listen to music, unless flying maybe.
