This is great, remember the Gurkha Tal Bahadur Pun who was awarded the VC (Victoria Cross - highest military medal) yet wasn't allowed to migrate to Britain? Well he's been allowed in now. Largely thanks to people's power. I'd like to thank anyone involved and everyone who signed the petition on the downing street government petition site. The right thing has been done (for once) - it's a shame that the government didn't have the common sense in the first place. At least they eventually got it.

Yup, welcome to England.

I don't know what England is turning into atm, our shitty government seems more interested in protecting the guilty rather than the innocent, and are more concerned about keeping the good people out, rather than stopping the bad coming in.

I never did understand how they figured that out. I mean, sure, perhaps they thought he'd done nothing for the UK somehow, but thousands of other people get in that have no connection to the UK.
