Still most people train with paintball guns, because the rounds are more like bullets, in the sense that they shoot a lot faster, they're bigger, and they cant be affected as much by things like wind, and like said, they leave hit indication, and you can actually FEEL them hit you, unlike a little pinch.ghostgr wrote:

I am not against paintball, I have played it a few times with my friends and it's a lot of fun, but people who play paintball tend to not call hits, or try to wipe the paint off their clothing. In airsoft, nobody is a dick like that, and 99% of the time people call their hits.
And please, lets just leave it at this and not have a big argument, the man wants a gun.
I know not to post links but a gun like that (if its electric im too lazy to look at it) will suck bad and only go like 15 feet still not accurate if its spring buy it. I have an M15A2 Carbine electric classic army 360 fps and i had it for 2 years now i use it at least once a month sometimes like 4 times a month if im playing alot and it works great!farmerfez wrote:

Please give me advice on which to buy. Please dont give me links to others which are more expensive. This is about my price range. Also, if you could please explain why you chose which. One more thing ^^, I would also like to possibly have a link to a magazine (gun mag) that i can buy for each of these airsoft guns. I dont wana have just 1 mag. For that one you can post an external link but keep the price down to about 10 bucks.

well it seems like it such as: i lived in kelowna for a while and apparantly their airsoft store got shut down, several stores in vancouver,canada got raided. you can't have overseas airsoft guns shipped into canada. some people even have troubles with just getting magazines, vertical grips, pistol slides pass customs also, I recall reading that in the U.K. they are tightening the rules and airsofters dont' like that. Plus with the Vetch shooting and the shooting in toronto just do not make the situation any easier. and as for this little scrimish between airsoft and paintball. i respect both sports. but come on...what would you rather have? a "marker" or a something that looks like a run rifle, both airsoft and paintball shoot at the same velocity more or less it just that the paintsballs have heavier mass and well....basic physics they hit harder. I just find the gas tank in paintball guns annoying and besides would you not what to have this?

Well, as many say, you can't get any good airsoft for under 300€/$... Boys are notoriously known for low quality and breakable plastic parts. I once had one, and after a week teh mag broke, then the reload (It was a cheap spring type), so, to fire, you first needed to shake teh mag for 5 minutes, then put the gun upside down and pull back to get the shot loaded. And it didn't shoot much longer than 20 meters!!! And that price for electric ones... Nah! Seriously, get a better one, because those will work for maximum one month. I'm buying a €340 AEG, and that's a cheap one! You'll really, and I mean it, gain on saving a couple hundred bucks and then getting a quality one, unless you want to end up with an M4 that you must turn up and down to reload...farmerfez wrote:

Where I live, all live weapons are BANNED! It's illegal owning a real gun here at all, if you're not a deer hunter. And if you're a deer hunter, you may only hunt in restricted areas under POLICE SUPERVISION! People here have all played paintball, and it's a good game with good fun, but the thing is, that paintball guns are like big blobs! They don't have the feel of real weapons! And of course, they're restricted. Very restricted. Airsoft on the other hand, is available for all (14+) and have that really cool, realistic look. And you can spend lots of time consuming tons of teh cheap ammo shooting cans. Only paying for the ammo! Not having to go and book a time on some arena (Yes, owning one private is banned). Just the feeling, lying (even with a budget crappy plastic airsoft M4, that you have to put upside down to reload) in the grass, shooting anything you see, is just unbeatable when you've never seen and yet less used a live gun! Simply: Airsoft for the feeling, paintball for the game. You don't lie on your lawn shooting HOLES in a tin can with a paintball rifle, do you?
And in a way, they can never be compared.

Nope they shoot at about the same speed. Paintball just hurts more because it is more mass so more mass at the same speed as little mass is going to hurt much more. Basic physics dude. That and airsoft can at times actually feel like the real thing, so what would you rather use? An airsoft that shoots jus like paintball but feels so much better to shoot and looks so much cooler than a marker, or a marker that only carries somethign like 50 balls and feels like a pistol with a big gas tank? ya man i so agree with that; as i posted earlier what would you rather have a "marker" with huge ass gas tank or a something that looks like a real rifle? An ya but you have to rewind for those high mag caps, plus they rattle when they are low on bbs. and not to mention quite a handful of people such as me hate high caps and settle for the "real" magazines aka low capacity magazines. Yup I am getting an RPK it comes with a 300 round magazine plus an eclectric winding 3000 round drum magazine. I just need a few hundred dollars first lol.agent146 wrote:

yeah....I would love to save money but i dont make that much to begin with so its kinda like airsoft or food...
