If you cant simply aim where they are going to land then you deserve to be pwnd

Fact is, jumping around (or call if bunnyhopping if you're and admin) actually gives you only disadvantages.
1) After 2-3 jumps you run out of stamina and can't sprint anymore should you need it for the final meter to reach the saving corner or wall.
2) You can not fire your weapons while jumping, which decreases the amount of bullets you can put into your enemy.
3) You can not control your movement direction while flying through the air, thus:
4) Your enemy can easily predict where you are going to land.
5) Weapons have recoil which tends to push the enemy's weapon upwards so it's a stupid idea to actually jump up where the probability for being hit by a bullet is higher (especially headshots).
Conclusion:
If you engage in a shootout, strafe to the left and right a few steps while firing burst shots at the upper chest of your enemy (recoil drags your weapon a bit upward for the odd headshot).
Occasionally crouch to confuse your opponent, but don't prone, as it slows you down too much and delays your firing when you get up again. Use it only if going prone covers you (almost) completely.
The only time I sometimes jump in a firefight is when I'm very close to my enemy and he has gone prone (especially those support suckers with their deadly PKMs).
I then sprint a few steps directly towards them, jump over them, turn around and immediately go prone behind them.
They try to aim at me but then have to turn around, which is much slower when prone. This leaves me time fire a salvo of bullets into their asses.
If they get up from the prone position to turn around faster, they are delayed by the prone delay and also have to aim down to their feet again where I am now lying and blast away their kneecaps.
Bunnyhop + Saiga 12K = Win!
I got kicked a few times from the [PORN] server for 'Bunny Hopping'.
I'm not an excessive hopper, I generally do it when I spent my grenades, primary weapon, and know I can't take the guy with my pistol/knife.
What really angers me is when people complain about it, it's stupidly easy to kill a bunny hopper.
First thing, if someone bunny hops, DO NOT RUN TOWARDS THEM. I see it all the time, people run uteerly close then attempt to shoot the Hoppers feet.
Just take a few steps back away from them, you can see them clearly, line up a perfect shot. You don't even have to predict where they will land after the jump, shoot them mid air, do you realise how slow you are when your in the air? Really slow.
People need to stop complaining it doesn't really offer much of an advantage in a decent combat situation.
If you continually get killed by "Bunny Hoppers", stop playing support and lying on the floor all the time, I'm not an idiot, I will jump over you and shoot you in the back, because you die and it's fun.

My gaming background consists mostly of Unreal and Quake. That in itself is pretty self explanatory.
I BH when I run out in the open or if I know there is a Sniper is scoping an area. BH is also good when you hop over a Gay-More from it's side. I also BH in servers that do not allow BHing.
i bunny hop ALL the time, some times when im screwed i turn it around and i hop behind them and shoot him, seems really unfair but its just a game.
I bunny hop when manually guiding my SRAW...
...and still get sniped, but usually wind up hitting that sniper anyhow.

Another bunnyhopping topic yay!
Look, I am not going to stand there to get shot at, I am gonna make myself as hard to hit as possible. Those nades flying near me and bullets coming at me need to get avoided learn to use spacebar or is your thumb that far up your ass?

I do bunny hop. People hate me for it. Oh well.
Bunny hopping is part of the game and always will be so deal with it.
So I guess it's ok for us to get inside of buildings and fire through walls without any chance of the enemy shooting back?OmniDeath wrote:

No, I don't bunny hop. I will not complain when you do it, because, well that's just your insecurities. It's not hard to be moving where there is cover, and thus for me, it's easy to find cover without the need to hop like an idiot. (Plus, as everyone here says, it's easier to kill someone hopping in the middle of a road than it is to kill a guy ducking behind some boxes)

The game's terms of service doesn't allow you to glitch through walls, but it does allow you to bunnyhop to your heart's content.Drexel wrote:

The only thing that I'd suggest is that you were unable to jump when your sprint is gone. If that was the case, then I'd be content and wouldn't even read posts written on this topic ever again. Everyone knows that even with 0 bars in the sprint meter, you can still jump continuously.
Hardly, it's a sluggish unresponsive jump that basically makes the person jumping a gunless sitting duck who's going nowhere fast.Drexel wrote:

I can't believe so many people have such a difficult time with shooting someone mid bunnyhop. It's not even slightly difficult.
I guess it would be ok, if the hitboxes would actually STAY on the character instead of hanging 50 miles behind it.

I never said anything about it being hard to do/kill. It's just that I can survive as well without doing it, so I look down upon people who depend on it to survive.
if you hop, jump, skip, roll, or anything else, your an ass. its ok, your in the majority. just accept it. Besides, it was EA lame asses that included it because god knows the masses cant be bothered with aiming unless they are SURE they have the advantage. oh noes?! i might have to face down an e-enemy in e-combat. hop away!!, toss medic kits! flail about!
on a side note, does anyone seriously know what hopping about does to the hit box? i know something isn't right when say someone dives in front of me and get accurate shots off 'while inverted'. does the same apply to hopping around? Meaning, does the hitbox go nutty too? personally, the shotty has become my friend as of late and i've notice some off behavior at point blank...weird i tell ya.
and to the people who say adapt and overcome, believe i have already. I just wonder why people are so insistent their claims of being good at the game, not its glitches.

Well, you can continue to play thinking your style is the best and anyone who doesn't play like you is below you if you want.Drexel wrote:

yes a lot of people do it. however you can find a lot of players that dont do it. they are normally the people that are losing.
