I fucking clicked on the link with the Msn thingy. Its a new fucking virus, and i somehow cant get rid of it even tho i scanned so i decided to do a full reformat, i need steps, detailed one please.
1. back up everything you wanna keep (might also wanna create a disk with drivers on them)
2. find your windows CD and insert it into drive & boot from it
3. when you get to the point where it asks you where you want to install, delete the partition win was on previously
4. make a new one (full NTFS reformat) and install win to that
5. install all your drivers/updates/program/games/...

My friend told me to go to the bios or something.

Well first Ayumiz you could ask nicely and maybe include a please? Max has you on the right track here, but be honest if you don't have a clue what to do, because you sound like you don't have a clue what your talking about. I'de love to give you full instructions personaly but it's already been covered.

alright now i am seriously stuck, my hard disk becomes a removable hardware, even though its SATA, how do i go about solving it? Installing my mobo drivers now
because SATA drives are hot swappable, windows sometimes IDs them as a removable drive. Don't worry about itAyumiz wrote:

MAke sure you dont have a external harddrive still plugged in to a usb port as that will be picked upAyumiz wrote:

crap:p dont tell me a reformat just screwed myself. Even windows doesnt see my nvidia 7800gt gfx.

whats the problem with seeing the drive as a removable one? its perfectly normal. Also make sure to install the latest nvidia driversAyumiz wrote:

uhh btw, all the guys i asked said it shouldnt be seen as a removeable hard drive. I somehow i think i did something wrong when formatting my HDD via the windows boot cd. They gave 2 options, 1. Reformat NTFS(quick) and 2.reformat NTFS. I chose the second one though.
That wouldnt change anything, Its just that if you do the Quick option, it doesnt do a disk check. But I dont this that your hard drive as a removeable disk is a problem, but if it really bothers you, just reformat again and make sure you have only the basic perpherals plugged in (mouse keyboard, monitor), see if tht helpsAyumiz wrote:
