With all this debate about illegal immigration, does anyone have any statistics that the portion of the 12-20 million illegal immigrants in the United States are from Europe or Canada?

- Are there european/canadian illegal immigrants in the United States?
I can't speak for the Europeans, but I know the Canadians are about 500,000 strong, and usually are in Florida for about two months before they go back home...Harmor wrote:

There are ~50,000 illegal Irish there I'd say.
I can't see why they'd want to move there. Actually for us UK'ers it would be quite good as we get twice as rich once we convert our money. Though it would be hard to get there illegally, i can't see someone swimming like Google recommends. All in all, we've got it just about alright to not want to move there and even if we wanted to it would be 100X easier to get in legally.
Canadians, well....maybe, but again lifestyle over there is good enough to not want to move and i'm guessing it's fairly easy to immigrate legally. Unlike countries like Mexico or other 2nd/3rd world countries where it would be harder to get in legally.
One way of being there illegally is if we're kidnapped by the CIA and then dropped ontop of the Appalachians after they're done with us.
