- Ssandstorms Definative Guide to Claymore Spamming.
Excellent tactic. There is no doubt in my mind that this guy does more for his team then all you people claiming to be "uberpros" medics helping your team.Ssandstorm wrote:
11. Above all, be sure to anger the enemy as much as possible. Use a clan prefix like "CLAYHO". Type things like "You love my claymores don't you baby" and "I'm so pro with clays". This will see the enemy distracted, here they will forget about killing you and your teammates and concentrate on talking smack and initiating vote kicks.
Don't people know that you can use claymores effectively and get alot of kills WITHOUT being a claywhore? Without putting your teammates in harms way?
That's my goal ...
Claymore 01:49:28 326 kills 47 deaths 6.9362 K/D ONLY 49TKs overall alot with nades

Oh, he forgot to add play on servers where FF is off. That's what I do.

i hate you and your ilk...i guess every game has to have a 'suckass' class for the lower end people to feel included. Bf2 has 2. medic and sniper.
I think you meant you and people like you. Those classes really suck.golgoj4 wrote:

yeah, spawning ahead of incoming squads and laying ambushes in the flag zone. but i suppose that requires some tactical awareness that most claymore spamming nubs will never possess. If you really want to avoid friendly casualties, try and guess-timate a choke point they will use to set up an ambush. the initial guys will hit the clays, then hit them with nades and clean up the rest with the rifle. Works best if you dont put the clay in an obvious spot as most people wait now a days before fully running into an 'empty' flag.TheSkrapper wrote:

Thats my preference. Ambush or guarding a position. none of this claymore in the street shite. its a bit of a bitch move for a video game.
servers where ff is on, use your head. don't lay clays if your team is spawning there. or will run through there. show some class.
but, looking at your page thats what you play the most...pissed because I hit it on the head huh?pyscofrawg wrote:

Are you suggesting medic isn't boring?Jameseyy wrote:
Secondly. If I liked to play boring kits I could quite easily get a positive KDR with all of them.
I play other kits because medic gets so tedious after a while
kits are exciting because.....
Assault: noob tube!
Engineer: Shotgun/spanner
AT: Rocket!
Sniper:rifle for popping heads
spec ops: c4
support: also a bit dull in my opinion, but has rpk
Medic: errrrrm nothing? Only bonus is shock paddles better than knife at killing people.
doesn't even get anything in sf
oh and you can revive people, which half the medic don't even do
Clay spammers only say dumb things, its all there capable of.
heh...and i have some beach front property in AZ to sell you. its right on the sand...Ssandstorm wrote:

Ssandstorm,
Here are a few more tactics to add to your guide.
Ambush: (Similar to golgoj4's) Study the enemy movements and spot them as they advance toward you. Place the Claymores behind their "quick cover" spots. Retreat/hide enough to use your rifle/nades adequately. When the enemy approaches head shot one or throw a nade and the others will jump behind cover and into your Claymores. If they don't jump for cover then they are probably a medic and you can head shot them while they try to revive the first kill. This tactic can easily take out a medium/full squad.
Double Cheese: When you are trying to fend off a squad and you are mining a corner or choke point. Stick your first clay right around the corner. Place your second clay 5 ft behind that one around the corner also but aiming a little ahead from the area the first one covered. Idea being, when the first clay kills the point person and a medic comes to revive him he can set off the second clay. If the clays are spaced a little farther apart ... then the first claymore stops the point person (usually in the far lead) and then the medic and point person end up running close together after the revive setting up for the second claymore to take them both out.
Claynading: Usually when a claymore goes off people think that the Sniper is away. Time a nade throw to kill the unsuspecting medic/squad.

Im sure you only play medic to help your team. Snipers arent the most selfish, medics are. All medics care about is points not helping their team. People will go out of their way to revive you in the midst of a gun fight. Why? for 2 points.killer21 wrote:
This guide is exactly the reason why snipers are the worst players in the game.
Edit: Btw, running into a group of enemies is pretty selfish. Say you are able to get both of the clays off prior to your death and you get three kills out of the deal. If a medic is around, they will just simply revive the people who died via your claymore and all you have for this is a lost ticket for your team...oh yea but of course you just went 3-1 so it is all good for you..lol. Again, exactly why people say snipers are selfish, non-team players.

1. I dont care how to spell. Learn to speak English correctly rather than as if you have a lump of phlegm in your throat before you try to criticise my typing on the internet.Jameseyy wrote:

lol and the fact that you can only play with medic means what? He atleast can keep a KDR over ALL kits. You can only do it over one. Thus i deduce your a skill less nub.Jameseyy wrote:
Who's gonna follow a guide from someone with fucking horrible stats?
Secondly. If I liked to play boring kits I could quite easily get a positive KDR with all of them.
Thirdly. If we're all judging each other's stats, there's a quote out there do with glass houses and stones you might want to check out.
2. Do it or shut up.
3. I dont claim to be good, you clearly do, yet you arent.
Have you noticed that the people you claim "love to claywhore" have stats across all kits, maintaining a reasonable KDR throughout, while the ones flaming are skill less nubs who play one kit or just sit in a tank or plane?killer21 wrote:
You ever notice that the people in this thread who love to claywhore have pretty bad stats? And I don't care if you use a claymore or not. A sniper isn't anything I worry about because they usually are useless and die very easily so.
You realise the KDR for weapons isnt you being killed by them, its when you have that weapon out. Which means jack shit if you think about it, seeing as most people spend the whole time with a GUN out.millhous wrote:

I thought it was the guide that was important not the thread. Are you wanting to help others or just get an ego boost? If you want to help others then update your guide as interested people comment on it and ignore those that are trying to ruffle your feathers. Otherwise the thread will get so full of crap people won't be interested anymore.Ssandstorm wrote:

To all you winers/badgers/flamers:
I feel like I am sitting in a high school cafeteria listening to everyone whine and like ... "I'm rubber and you're glue ....." and "Your mama ....."
Please, don't make me write "A Definitive Guide to Maturity"
Heh, I liked the "kamikaze ammo rush" lmao
Well the guide is the thread, thats how I see it anyway.TheSkrapper wrote:
