Brosnan combines the best of his predecessors with Connery's witty delivery but is more of an action-packed ass kicker. Roger Moore was terrible, in fact, I'm pretty sure he was gay. Connery was a fun character and his movies are classic but they can't hold a candle to Goldeneye. As for Craig, we'll see.

But back to the question...hmmm...tough call. Moore, Brosnan and Connery are my joint faves. Brosnan got my vote tho cos I think he's a combination of Moore and Connery's qualities.

Sean Connery owns. Can't beat the original. Roger Moore was also decent, but his movies were mostly good because of the crazy plots and badguys (Goldfinger, Moonraker). As for Pierce, I think he's a decent Bond, but maybe Goldeneye for N64 has something to do with everyone's fondness of him. Shit started to hit the fan with Tomorrow Never Dies, but I still haven't seen Casino Royale and a lot of people liked it so who knows.
And I think the people who voted for Pierce must not have seen any Bond movies before Goldeneye. Sean Connery is just soooooooooo much better.

Daniel Craig is a tool. He's anti gun. Not that I'm so pro gun nut, but a person who plays James Bond can't be anti gun, I mean, c'mon!
too soon to tell where Daniel Craig end up in the list however his performance was outstanding in Casino Royale. Quite ruthless.

I won't criticize George Lazenby. I think he did a credible job for the one film but he got screwed over when Sean Connery came back.

As a rule I don't like witty repartee and little jokes unless Arnie does it. It didn't sit right that James Bond would be like that. He wasn't ruthless enough IMO. Funny movies though.
