When alcohol is negatively affecting your life on a near constant basis, and you continue to drink/drink heavily despite those negative consequences, chances are your an alcoholic.
Drinking everyday doesnt mean your an alcoholic, just means you drink everyday. . . . When that drinking effects your relationships/employment etc. then you might want to give it a "rest".

Binge drinking on the weekend, because you get addicted to it and you make it part of your routine. Also drinking alone is not as fun as when you are in a bar or a club.
