I was using Internet Explorer for the longest time. I really liked IE6 and had tried FF before and didn't like it. But then IE7 came out and it was just too big a rip off of FireFox so I just went and downloaded FF and it's grown on me and I like it now.

And IE is not that bad at all. If you're not a complete moron when it comes to computers (read: mac user) then your computer won't get all infested with spyware and adware just because you use IE. All my friends would heckle me because of my use of IE, but they're ignorant and have no idea what a spyware blocker or adware blocker is... plus they probably look at porn way too much and didn't know of any safe sites to go to.
thats the whole problem with i.e. Why cant it protect me like ff does? I shouldn't have to stay in the 'safe' part of the net. Thats not the internet. Maybe internet lite, or internet.cn but not the series of tubes i grew up with   And its a bit ballsy to be using i.e. and call others ignorant...to many damn holes for me (not like ff doesn't have any). That being said, i don't think you can knock the mac users. they were smart enough to not buy a platform that the majority of viruses are written for. As far as spyware blocker and the rest, i could see you as ignorant because  some of us know how to avoid it period. But that would be harsh.

BTW, if i have to change scripts that work fine in Firefox and Opera, yes there is a problem with I.E. And i look @ pron way too much

I am not a mac fanboy, but goddamn is pops g5 rig sweeeet!

The download manager I would have thought - it could be better - like it could resume...

Firefox, duh.

<3 AdBlockPlus, NoScript, FlashBlock, Nuke Anything Enhanced. And if I need to IETab.

I'm also seeing Firefox in popular culture too now, TV1 (cable channel in Australia) has a 'go to our website' ad, and you can see Open New Tab next to the Address Bar.

... I have a HDTV, alright.

you can remove the ticker so that the "download window thing" does not appear when downloading.

I use FF here. Cut down my spyware invasion by about 99% since then. I almost stopped scanning for those as I almost never get any
... maybe i'll scan now that i think of it heh

No idea what you mean, I use Download Manager Tweak. It opens Downloads in a New Tab and is even 'Loading' when its downloading.

Hard to find now as its been abandoned and taken up by a number of seperate teams. This seems to be the latest release. Nothing on the realm of Resuming yet.

Safari is great - but not on the list.

Firefox would be mine, solely for adblocking and customizability.

Safari is there, duh

Actually I thought about putting it, but, nah, It's mostly mac'r who use it, and there ain't many.

So now at checkpoint 100 Firefox sees to be on <2/3 of the users. IE only 1/5 and Opera 1/20

Firefox.

A lot more easier to use than IE, and is so much more customisable.

Firefox. Yet even though I use FF, IE -still- gives me trouble thanks to the occasional malware or when I have to update something from MS. IE glitched out and had way too many holes for me to be happy with it.. I haven't and won't look back. If FF, gods forbid, ever starts being stupid like most of the junk MS pumps out, I'll leave the internet completely.

And yes, like Soldier-Of-Wasteland said, you can turn off the downloads window appearing all the time.

There is also a sexy addon that integrates the download bar into one of the tool bars.

FF almost exclusively.  Only use IE when a site won't open properly with FF.

I like Opera, but FF's addons mean that I always come back to using it.
