I know theres alot of exploits in bf2 and sf, so im wondering like in karkand if u SOMEHOW got into the hotel BY MISTAKE not intentional would u stay in there or would u commit suicide? happened to me when i was afk somehow but i left the server due to final studies

No, it is considered a hack and forever would be, so my personal answer is no.
I never saw the exploit that worked in ranked servers, but did see some asshat try with the tank,--- by the end of the first flag, he's unsuccessful everytime. I know you've seen it Maj.Do, we've played on the same servers But all in all, I don't play that way, the stats are for me only, so I would fill obligated to suicide, because I'd rather go about my business than camp where no one can get me.

Uh... I've seen it, never done it. And why would I? And How do you exactly? All I've seen is someone turn that turret 100 miles an hour and everybody on the screen is yelling Hack. To me it looks funny. I go about my business, I don't worry about that crap.

I had something similar happen to me once when I was new to the game, I got in a glitch by mistake, killed a guy and the round ended. Later I learned what it was and I'm glad that I never went back to using it Don't use glitches, its just stupid and lame.

I would definitely not stay in there but commit suicide instead... Staying in there would take all the fun of me anyway. This game is not about winning to me but to have fun...
The reason I like games such as the BF and the Rainbow Six series (and not Quake or UT) is the attempt at realism. So, no, I wouldn't use an exploit even if I knew how to do it.

I kept getting accused of it in Karkand, even got me banned. I dont get it, I wasnt doing anything but getting my knife badge, or trying to. He said it had something to do with spinning, the only spinning I was doing was trying to avoid being killed by the butthole who was using a GL at point blank range, (to which i failed, killed us both) you know thats another thing, if someone pulls out a knife, pull out your knife and fight with some honor, someone is working hard for their badge and your being a shithead by GLing them in their face. Have some pride and knife it!

i know the the exploits on both kurkand and dragon valley but i wont use them or tell anyone how to,cheating is for assholes
If I'm being completely and utterly honest with myself, I would stay there for a while, even if to only walk around and see the sights. I may shoot a few guys, or type messages saying "Help, I'm stuck in a wall," thank kind of thing. I wouldn't suicide straight away, but I wouldn't exploit the exploit so to speak.

i would kill myself. i dont want to get my stats reset. but it would be fun to go around and wound people to scare them
while we're being honest, i would walk around and check it out too. i wouldn't sit there killing guys tho - not necessarily out of some sense of honour, but just because of the brute fact that i don't want my stats reset, after all the effort i've put in (why risk all the unlocks and tracking of your efforts over something so pointless, fleeting, and - as others have pointed out - just plain not fun?).Tyferra wrote:

however, i wonder whether i wouldn't at least kill one guy, just to even out the suicide that you have to take just to get out. after all, if what where talking about is getting in there by accident, then it's not your fault, and taking the suicide option is really just another way this game punishes you for its own under-development (consider jumping off a tall building with full health, pressing the 'chute button repeatedly, only to fall the whole way and 'suicide'. such bullshit, has happened to me a few times). there are several instances of this, and they are all frustrating. so i might kill at least that one guy. however, it's a situation that i don't really know how i would react to unless it actually happened.

I feel the same. I would suicide it, as it isn't fun for me to find the loopholes in a game; because someone didn't lock his meshes together when doing his artwork. This applies to many things in this game though:
hacks, noob toobing, Blackhawk exploit, bunny hopping, 4M parachute jumping...
Guys/Girls (yes, I have seen some) who like the challenge of the game, want to play fair. Anyone who is exploiting is just simply unsure of themselves, and trying to "win" the game by cheating.
So what do you win here? we all talk about Blazin.UK, or NastieButler, and how they exploited at times to get to the top... but do we respect them for it?
I loved the berlin map in the original battlefield, including the DC mod version. The problem was that the exploit people found, let them parachute in behind the building mesh, so they could pwn the allied base without reprive. They didn't even get ranked for this! They just got the disappointment of people refusing to play that map anymore because of all the cheating going on.
Thats a long enough diatribe... of to study new strategies.
