And I understand it isn't the BEST solution if you have the cash, but wanted to through it out there to possible help your options..
You might consider buying a cheaper card to tide you over until the new ones come out... I know a lot of people that did that with the 6800-7900 jump... Buy a cheaper $100 (but still good, like the 7900) card until the 8800 has its drastic price drop... You may end up spending just as much in the long run, but it would be for 2 cards instead of one, meaning you have a backup in case something goes out, or you can ebay to get a little bit of the cost back...
Just a thought... If you have the cash without a problem, no real reason to wait... Gratz on the new rig!
I do, my father's gonna buy it for me since I myself have like no cash flow
makes sense you have a sick system, and mommy and daddy are buying you all this stuff....your from Long Island. Why dont you get a job and save your money like every little kid should? You will appreciate it more.
Wow, troll much? You're a real prick.
I bought the majority of my system with my own money from selling MY OWN THINGS and birthday money. But for the GPU I have no more money left to spend and my dad said he'd buy it for me for graduating this year.
Don't generalize just because i'm from Long Island, dickhead. My parents are divorced and I live in a 3 room ranch.
At 15 many good jobs are hard to come by, especially around here where immigrants are holding most of the small ones. I will have a job in the summer and pay back some of the money since my mom put a loan out for me of 300 bucks for a monitor/heatsink/sound card.
Don't talk about things you don't even know, asshole.
