wher do we need to AIM? hitbox? player?
Hitboxes are teh sux.
h4xtbh.
No, it is annoying, and it really do vary server to server... sometimes you can hit them and they die, others, you can empty magazines into someone, and you still can't find the hitbox

aim for the head and then drag the mouse so it's behind their head, and they'll go down like that *snaps fingers*
i'm not positive though, but i think the bullets in this game have a degree of magnetism, and not only to the hitboxes lag behind the model, but they also drag. I think face painting is possible as well, but the time frame is probably so small its near impossible
magnetism = force present in many games that draws bullets to the hitboxes if reticle is close enough to their body[part], in bf2 its probably where the bullets will land though, not the reticle
hitbox lag = hitboxes lag behind the target, generally you can only hit the rear facing part of the body if they are moving, and when sprinting and jumping the hitboxes will do all sorts of wierd stuff. When you go prone you can still shoot stuff as if you were standing up for a short time, and when you go from prone to standing you can get shot immediately even before the screen shows it
hitreg = sucks in bf2, you'll have to get used to it
face painting = if the center of the reticle was directly over a target, within a certain time frame if you shoot you will still hit them/aim at them, but in bf2 i think its pretty low

Link is not working?
Holy crap thats some really bad hitbox lag. Well actually it looks like the hitbox just carried on going when the player turned. So thats why i miss people fairly often.. I'm aiming AT them when i should be aiming somewhere else entirely..
Earlier I needed a med kit and my teammate wouldn't give me one so I shot above him to get his attention... I tked him and I fired well above his head.
i got a better plan - get the M249 SAW out , and surely you cant miss
This is battlefield 2, eh. You can and WILL missairie865 wrote:

Well, the slo mo makes it look even worse, but I'd say you or the target was lagging bad

Too bad you are a gay 4 star general, and a certain friend of me, is a real one (who was playing there too)
