Bonjour.
Basically there are 2 types of serial ATA hard drives:
SATA I - 1.5 Gbit/s and SATA II - 3.0 Gbit/s
I know that a SATA II hard drive is backwards compatible with a SATA I motherboard connector.
The question I'm asking is..... is a SATA I hard drive compatible with a SATA II slot on a motherboard.
(I can't seem to find a convincing answer on google).
