SF is an unstable piece of crap, not the game, but the way it runs. BF2 runs very smoothly for me on high settings because I have 1.5gb of RAM. But SF needs to be run on almost low settings to work. What a piece of crap.

Too fix just change your BF2.exe name too anything else & alter your shortcuts to incorporate the new filename. It will increase framerates exponetialy on low end systems; e.g. Anyone who doesnt have a Geforce 7800GTX

thanx but no thanx, dont want to mess with anythink
lower the screen resolution to 1028x768 pixels and then lower it to the same in the game.
that worked on me and if u have 1.5 gigas of ram then u should run SF in high settings pretty good too.

1024x768 might be a more logical option.
I run a 6800GT , never had this type of lag, well only flying a chopper on Mass Destruction and Surge.
Will give it a go.
