I'd say that's pretty much true... at least that's how they taught it to us in elementary school
As an american i can pretty much say, that about covers it, but they left out the Maple syrup and canada and the immigrants in mexico.

probably true except for france declared as a friend. also, there should be more bomb marks on japan and bjork-land instead of iceland.
this might be interesting to expand this to how other countries view themselves as well. any non-US takers?

I took a geography course this quarter and the professor was talking about how they oriented the map was completely arbitrary, but England chose to put itself at the top to symbolize the dominance over all the other countries.

We had a world map in school like that. Strange thing was, it was entitled "The World" but only consisted of North America. The map was actually in two pieces on opposite ends of the room, but to see a lone continent with the title (which the European side didn't have) was strange.seymorebutts443 wrote:

Also I didn't think America would even know we had a Movie Studio, they probably think The Matrix is real. I mean if it wasn't made in America, what other explanation is there?

EDIT: Ok so your stats say you're in USA but your location on the forums says Austria. Well in case you're also from America, I think that's weird because in all the maps I've seen Europe has been at the center, but then the ones you've seen have America at the center. What part of the US are you from? (I'm from CA)
