Alright, so I know my way around the computer for basic stuff.... but I'm not as enlightened as some and I was wondering about an issue I've been havin.

Ok, so when I join a server in Battlefield 2 for some reason my connection becomes really unstable. I don't have any idea why this occurs as my connection is excellent outside of the game. The only things I can think of that have changed since before when it worked are that I bought some new headphones, USB headphones with software. Now I don't know if this would effect connection or anything and I didn't think it would, but I'm not positive. So, any help would be great.

man i had the same problem not 2 weeks ago lol, my PC just Hated usb headphones, I had to return em nothing was working properly

Yeah, it has happened everytime I've played, so maybe it is just the USB headphones, I'm about to try it with my old headphones.

Some boards will have conflicts when using multiple sound devices and ethernet drivers when using onboard devices. (ie. onboard sound and/or ethernet adaptors.)

My Logitech USB headphones work seamlessly with the Creative X-Fi. I run the USB device with voice, and the X-Fi with sound/games.

Alright, I switched back to my old headphones and it works fine now, so is there any way to use my newer headphones without the connection issues?

I just posted a reply in the other thread but I'll post here to. Do you have any other USB devices plugged into the system? I'd recommend uninstalling the software that came with it. A USB headset shouldn't require any software. Other then that you can check your computer's manu or mobo manu for Bios and chipset updates. You may want to also consider just trying to uninstall all USB devices from safe mode and then just reboot.
