I got a wireless receiver dongle for my 360 controller so I could play emulator games and PC games with my 360 controller. While it's perfect for my emulators because they have built in dead zone settings for analog sticks, there's no software to use with this controller so I can set the dead zone and button configurations permanently within the OS. The drivers Microsoft provide give absolutely no functionality features whatsoever. I've found apps. that allow you to configure your controller to act like keyboard buttons and mouse movements (such as Pinnacle Game Profiler) but they're not free. I can't buy that crap here in Iraq (I'm deployed) and download it on a government computer, plus I shouldn't have to buy that crap when I spent $70 total just for the controller and wireless dongle. It's very frustrating in Need for Speed: Most Wanted when I'm trying to go straight and my car is constantly veering to one side or another. Anyone on here have this controller or know any other free software I can use to configure the dead zone on this thing?? Any help would be much appreciated and much karma to anyone that has a solution!!
