you could probally test drive both and not be able to tell the difference. the retail one comes with more "stuff"

You get more stuff with the Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer 7.1 Soundcard - Retail, but I don't really see anything that would make it so AMAZING over the OEM one.White-Fusion wrote:

Both basically the same, if it was me I'd not have either and go for the one with the 64MB RAM on it, as you'll actually get some sort of performance increase with that, with those you just get slighty better sound and a dented bank balance.
