Wow, look at these prices for premium OCZ ram - Super low timing.

2x1gb pack (i bought mine at $230 - They then got up to $280 and i stopped watching for a while)
$129 after mail in rebate!  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6820227210

2x512mb pack
$75!  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6820146896

Look at the timings on that ram, 2-3-2-5
Now i've only been looking at what goes to my computer, which is pc3200 184pin, but i would guess other OCZ ram is down too.

Enjoy!

That two x 512 would be great to buy in 2 sets (eg, 4 x 512) for a gaming rig. Nice fast ram in double dual channel setup would rock it. That's what I have and I'm sure I paid more than 150 ;D

LOL at the ratings on the 512... Read some of those comments. Harsh.

i actualy have that ocz (2x512) paired with 2x512 of partriot ddr400 and i have gone without a hitch.  i am also wowed at how cheap the 280-pin ram is right now.  everyone says its because ddr3 is coming out but i have yet to see it nor am i the kind of guy who can afford to stay on top of the ram/video card/processor game.   if you have old rig, or have a family member who needs a cheap computer that you could pawn yours off too, 2gb of 184-pin is plenty for your web surfer.  even gaming, as that is what i currently have.  hell i just bought a 939 dual core opteron to get me through till next year where i will upgrade completely to c2d.  nutshell:  plenty of life left in 184-pin and ddr.  go for it.
