at least 10 GB
Ok, so explain what Raid means! I barely know how to start a computer
I've got 2 gigs of dual channel DDR2 4x512mb.
I have a 64 bit system that says it can support up to 14 gigs.
I am looking to up grade to put two gig sticks in each of the six slots, which would make twelve gigs, but the 2 gig sticks are still too expensive.
Saying that I have never had any load problems into BF2 or 2142. Usually I am one of the first people into the servers and I put that down to the ram and my two 3.6 single core Intel processors, they help a lot in my opinion, but different people will say different things.

I used to have 2gb RAM (1x1gb 2x512mg)
THEN I upgraded my motherboard to a Lan Party one.
Wankiest RAM usage, now I can only have 1gb (the 2x512mg) as it's as picky as hell with RAM
Though I needed the new processor so I had to upgrade.

I'm running on 2 GB dual channel (2x1gb)
