As none of these games are truly designed for one of the particular consoles, there's not going to be a huge noticeable difference.
I don't see the point of this. Both systems are nearly identical, as the screenshots prove.
And personally, I don't see how the PS3 version of games are so 'bland'. I don't know what TV they were using, but on my TV, all my PS3 games look very rich in color (I have not changed anything in the TV's settings).
Edit: Also, Gamespot has traditionally loved to hate the PS3. Even when they've praised the console, they've always done it with a parting shot.

and as for which is better, Xbox 360 wins hands down just because of Live, which is what it is built to do

I've got a PS3 but my brother has the Xbox. Live is a lot better, but once you actually get into playing a game on Playstation Network and Live theres nothing different.Darkfire wrote:

They failed to talk about how the PS3 still has no major killer apps. I'm eagerly awaiting them, but for right now your $600 is better spent in a savings account. Maybe by the time a killer app comes out you can afford a PS3 AND a game! =p
Stupid comparison. 360 been out for more than 2 years, what do you expect? doh... Gamespot must quit this useless comparison.
They are pretty much exactly the same, except for the fact that the PS3 has less color.
Save your money guys, buy a 360.
