Passing the precious Pizza Nova next to the food court which I consider to be my life blood, I walked more rapidly. My foot glided over the threshold of the video game store, people moving out of my way -- they knew. To stand in front of me at that moment in time would be a date with death like no other. Calmly I said to the clerk "hey, I'm here to reserve a game". For a short while that store was like a little hang out to me and the clerk knew me well. We would spend minutes sometimes hours discussing relevant gaming issues while browsing the used game bin. He answered "hows it going" but I was in no mood to talk. He looked at me with an evil smile almost scoffing "that game is never going to come out you know" I clenched my fists below the counter where he could not see and grinded my teeth just a little bit "listen, make an entry in your database with my name and number for this game" looking at me with a dead look he said "tell ya what, I'll do it for free heh" then I said "good then I'll be on my way cya". While leaving the store I felt reassured my copy of Duke Nukem Forever will be waiting for me. My friend taunted me as I left the store "hahha you're retarded" then I declared "yes retarded… RETARDED LIKE A FOX!"
