I was taking some trash out today when the auto-relocker on my apartment door caught, leaving me locked out without my cell phone or keys. I therefore had to walk over to the library, use the computers there to check my landlord's number. I then had to walk over to the payphone, only to discover my landlord isn't there. I then had to look up a locksmith, and get him to come out and open the door for $50. When I went to take the money out of an ATM, the first time it didn't spit out any cash or a receipt, So I ran my other card and got the money to pay the locksmith. When I got home, I just checked online and the first transaction did go through, despite me getting my money, so I know I have to wait till Monday to talk to someone about it.

And the worst part...

I still have to call the IRS today to get a transcript of my taxes.

I was having the same kind of day, locked my keys in the house. Had to wake up the G/F to get them & right after discovered my bike tire was flat & I had to get to the bus stop to get up to work. Luckily she saved the day & drove me to get the tire repaired & took me to the bus stop alleviating a lot of stress. She's the best!

Don't worry, Elamdri. If you didn't get your cash the ATM machine should detect that and the double charge should fall off. If it does not, you will have to wait until Monday to contact your bank. But they can easily determine that you didn't receive cash both times and credit you. Hope that helps.

Edit: Sorry bout the rest of your day. Hope the rest of the weekend goes better. Both my cars had issues this week and my lawnmower handle broke so I'm having a day of it, too!

I just wish I could have gotten ahold of my landlord or my maintenance guy to save myself the cash from the Locksmith. But alas, they were on my cell phone, and that was sitting upstairs in the charger. And yeah, I gotta call Monday about the cash.
