I think you should be able to point your crosshair on the icon of the C4 you planted when holding the detonater, as to seperatly blow-up different C4´s in an ambush.

Im just thinking it would be usefull if you have placed C4 on multiple roads waiting for a tank/apc to arrive. Nothing more annoying than having your teammates driving over the different set of explosives when the tank arrives.the_heart_attack wrote:

It would create more usefull ambushes. Instead of just toosing the C4 around.(I know this will stop with the new patch)
I made a post with this idea a while ago, my idea was to have the 5 charges assigned to different keys like the 12345 on the numpad - would be very useful for setting up ambushes
it would certainly make it more difficult for c4whoring. then volx would have to find another way to make points lol

Yeah, what Horseman said. If you have to point your crosshair at the C4 to blow it, it kind of defeats the purpose of espionage, especially when you want to be far away from the C4 when it blows.

Looking at it kind of defeats the purpose of a remote charge, cause then if like you threw it on a tank and they turned or something you couldn't kill it.
I was thinking this would be cool too, but kinda hard. Because it takes two C4's to kill a tank/apc right? So if you have them set for an ambush situation, then what if you have like a couple on one part of the road and some more on a different road/different part? You'd have to quickly blow 2 seperatley, which would be interesting to say the least.
What would be cool is if you could somehow assign C4 groups. Like group "A" is two charges here, then group "B" is the other three over here. Then detonate "A" ... etc.
