the movie actually had an extra ending after the credits, 10 yrs later where kiera and her kid wait at the shore and whatshisname comes back with the curse gone...
it was an ok movie, kinda lame in parts but at least watchable

Saw it yesterday. Never seen 1 or 2, but the end of 3 was a bit too long.

And when you think about it, why doesn't Elizabeth join the Flying Dutchman's crew? That way she gets to stay with him AND be immortal. The problem with these pirates; they don't think straight.

Yes. Yes you did.
I think the first one was the best. This one really dragged on (especially in the Davy Jones locker part) and was only good in some parts (i.e. the fight in the saunas, the pirate meeting, the ship battles...etc). I liked it, but not as much as the first two.
And holy fuck I wanna bang Keira Knightly.
Although I've noticed, she's really only hot in POTC and Domino. In real life she's not that great.

Nobody said that Elizabeth couldn't go on the ship, just that Will couldn't come on land.
2nd was better, though I still liked the 3rd. I thought it was gay that he was "killed", but whatever. They started to ruin it with the whole plot of Bloom seeing the kiss and a love triangle crap.

I was truly disappointed and see this akin to the matrix. 1 was brilliant, revolutionary and had a real imaginative script. 2 got worse, and 3 was terrible with just, putting as much crap in as possible to please an ignorant mob. It comes down to greed, the sequels are just thrown together in a short a time as possible for the sheer fact it will sell, not to make another good movie.
I'll give it 2/10 and that is purely for Johnny Depps once again well performed representation of Captain jack Sparrow. The rest of the movie lacked anything remotely awe inspiring.
