My Punkbuster wont update through BF2, IM getting kicked left and right for Either Losing Transfer Packets, Q5Blabla errors or somthing or just plain old "Punkbuster failed to update"

I Updated it manually and It still dosnt work ><
Iv formatted ma Computer like ten times this week to try and make the game work, the second it starts working properly This happens

Maybe ill take up WoW or sommin

My Punkbuster gives me the same crap since yesterday...first it was a wrong version,then,after I downloaded a file from the punkbuster-site(auto-updater?),it kicks me for 2 minutes due to pb-update....

I read about one thing you can do: As soon as the round starts open up the console and type: pb_security 0 ,then pb doesn't mind if there is an older pb-version on the server(not sure,just what I read).

Anybody here who has a real solution for this?

Hmm,this site didn't help me much,I downloaded all the necessary files for the new pb-version but my favorite servers keep kicking me.....

Always the same error...this server requires version bla,bla...error loading pbag.

Do I have to have just one .dll or .htm file of pb so that there are no mismatches?

The auto-updater says all the time that BF2 needs to be updated but it actually doesn't change a thing(and displays the current version) and I get kicked all the time,this severely sucks!!!!

Help!!!

This just sucks,there doesn't seem to be an easy solution for it!!

In the console I get the message that there is an error occuring while copying the wa0001365.dll to pbag.dll,the autoupdater doesn't do shit about it and I can't play properly anymore.......

And the Punkbuster setup gives me this nice crap: Conversion from HTM to binary failed.Please try to update again.

AAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!

I need some backup here!

same shit with me it gave me a kick and "Restriction, blocked o/s priveleges: 508:430" what the hell is that, happened all day, so i restarted pc and its been fine for now

Problem solved....at least for me.

Seems that there was a process(e5...???) in the background which kept pb from updating,after killing this process with the task manager the auto-update worked...

HOORAY!! ;-)

punkbuster is so annoying. I havent seen anyone get kicked for something legitimate, but lots of people get kicked just because PB screws up. I myself get kicked several times a night because "this server only allows clients with unmodified content". When i rejoin the same server, same map, same players, no problems at all. GJ punkbuster.

Yeah I couldnt play for weeks cause of that Unmodified Content Only error, thats why I formatted my computer its the only thing I could think of after all the things I did.

Just fixed it, and another one comes along <.<

OK i have re installed my Game, Manually updated Punkbuster Tried everything else known to man and im still beeing kicked from every server I login to

It says, Please install manualy by going to Evenbalance.com But I have allready manually installed it 3 F*kin times ><

This game relli isnt worth the trouble,
