My friend has an Xbox 360, and I was wondering if there was any way that I could play against him online with my computer.  I think I remember hearing that you could only do it with a couple games or something.  If anyone knows anything on this, feel free to enlighten me.

Yeah that would be the case if Microsoft didnt give the 360 players a built in aimbot

and the pc players motion blur which makes it much harder..

You need the Game (Shadowrun) and you need a XBox Live membership for your PC (silver; free but limited features/ gold; costs about 5€/$ a month; you have all features and you can host games) to play it online.

You need:

An XBox Live subscription.
A PC running Vista, with a Games For Windows Live subscription.
1 Xbox copy of the game.
1 PC copy of the game.

AFAIK you can't play over Ethernet, you can only play online. This all depends on the game itself, whether or not it has Join Internet/Join Local/Create Local like PC games.

Also according to Wikipedia (ShadowRun), to put everyone on "level footing", all the consolers get aimbots.
