My friend and I were wondering if it was at all possible to have your VOIP come out to your headphones, and your BF2 game play noise to your regular speakers?

No, the only PC game that I know that allows this would be Flight Simulaotor. You can either have:

S, H
S
H
None

S = Speakers
H = Headphones

If you use Teamspeak the answer is YES.

Start BF2 with the headset UNPLUGGED.

Once the game starts ALT-TAB to desktop.

Then plug-in USB headset and then load Teamspeak.

Go back in the game & you should be good to go.

If you have a soundcard as well as onboard sound, simply activate the onboard sound and plug your headset/mic into that and set in in vent as the input output device. Voila the vent sound comes through the headset and game sound through speakers via your main soundcard...

Not unless you use Vent, I aleady tried to get it like that with BF2 VOIP and it's impossible.
