So everyone here has seen that Asaulttoxic got his stats reset. What you don't know is why they did. According to him and assassin this is the reason. He got a new CD-Key and EA doesn't like that with an old account.

"Wel i did Contat EA about it, lets see what happening.

All i can say is dont retrieve a old Account on a new CD key, it seems like EA doesnt Like it.

Example : Old Account AsaultAssassin
Example : New Account ????? CD Key.....retrieve AsaultAssassin...on new CD Key .....weard sheit happens. "

Dont ever buy a new game, new cd key , and retrieve your old profile, and play with it longer than 14 days. Multiple CD keys with one account.....BOOOM....

When SGS banned us me and Toxic both bought new games. When we got unbanned, we never reinstalled, and carried over the account on the new CD key.

Revert back to old CD key, might help, might not. But the points generated in that time will be lost. ARGGGGGGGGG!!!!! "

why would u want a new cd key anyway? or for that matter a new cd?..why did sgs ban you? and why did u both feel the need to buy new cd's if the ban was eventually lifted?..as for being warned i dont think i need to be, because im an avergae joe who plays for fun and plays fairly...if i remember correctly there was a thread in here some where about TOXIC and his stats...wonder why?

You both was stat padded and that was reason why your stats reseted. As long as there's 2 CD or more keys in use at the same time (multiple users for one account) they can't reset it (well sure they can but there's no real reason). So if some one loose manual and he/she must reinstall game (with new CD key from new game) he/she must make new account? Oh c'mon, that's not true (or if it is EA sucks more than I though). Or if I go to my friend's place to play with my account EA will reset my stats? Seriously. Get real, you killed ASTER00120 183 times in one round and AsaultToxic's best round was around 2000 or something so the real reason why your stats reseted was that you was stat padding. So for every one now, don't worry if you play with new CD key, EA won't reset your stats.

Damn that sucks, i remember Asaulttoxic being in the top 10's and now look at him. Atleast he dont have to get the medals again. It felt like an eternity to get were im at with global points and im only tipping the scales at 60,000. Just remember dont stat pad, hack or change cd-keys .

Thats complete and total BS....

I have played at 3 different internet cafes, and on my own home computer, and I have never had my stats reset... and i have been playing since the game first came out in Australia (with a 4 month hiatus in the middle. )

Once again a Piece of shit stats padder is trying to justify his actions. Im glad they took his points... what would have been even better is if his entire account(incl medals) was deleted, and he had to start from scratch.

Well did you notice in the thread how people from South Africa believed them? They felt pride about someone from South Africa being up there and hope that people don't think South Africa is a joke for gamers. Umm too late when SGS didn't do what it was responsible for.

Dude, I play on a different computer with a different Cd-key every time I play. I go to an iCafe. So far, my stat's are fine.

Never see that exist, probably EA is smart and know you guys wanted to be unbanned on the server that banned you. EA thinks it is a big violation and banned your accounts good. Just a maybe.

Unfortunately they have made South Africa gamers and SGS look like a bunch of idiots... they havent policed the game in the manner that they were meant to, and now how are other ppl meant to take high scoring SA's seriously. In trying to protect their "image" they have done more damage..

Im seeing a disturbing trend... cheating in BF2, and cheating to win the 1995 Rugby World Cup over NZ... a disturbing trend indeed............... TVFIC.

Yeh I mean I play mainly from my own comp, but I also play on computers at i-cafes n various mates places, and a few mates have also retrieved their accounts to my computer so they can play on mine wen they're here, so by now my account has probably been played using at least 6 seperate instals of BF2, so 6 seperate keys, n EA hasn't done anything to my stats. I don't believe a word of what was said.

I made an account on my friends computer, then retrieved it on my dad's computer, then once I got RAM and a new GPU I retrieved it on my computer... no problems for me.

If you don't have :

- brain, fps-games are not for you...learn to read and write 1st.
- money to buy all you need to play BF2 ---> get the fuck off the servers and grow up. Someone might hire you some day --> you get cash from that...
- enough HW, then you don't have it. Play checkers or some other game suitable for your aged children...

...African BF2 player...how stupid can it be...
