That's pretty much how my train of thought went - "well, they're actually working for a start - not leaning against the van drinking tea... hey... the van... WTF! ROFL"...

They removed a pole to get it in there, or they squeezed it through the gap. It would actually make it if they did it carefully.

The thing wrong with the picture is that they're working and there's nobody making tea.
Also, that signpost is standing up straight. Normally someone would have hit it with a car by now.
