Possible patch/update for BF 2 ?

Today EA posted ^^^^ that. Im guessing the beta is completed, and the official release date in coming sometime next week. Could it also be that the beta is affecting the stats server ? Usually a beta is placed on a unranked server and people play in them for testing.

These are just assumptions and not facts on the STAT SERVER outage.

I hope to see a patch released with the new map in place to fix the stats server outage!!

Once again, I would also love to see the stats completely whipped to start all over again and make it competetive all over again.

Just as a reminder that was posted by EA on 22 June 07!!

I know there was nothing mention on a new patch. But when Wake Island and Road to Jalalahabad were released, they were released via new patch.

I have a theory that the beta map caused a huge error in the system (Queue the system with errors). With that in mind, EA will most like refuse to release any real answer until the official map is released so that they dont look as bad.

Once again these are theory, not facts.

yea i think the beta map messed up the stats too because stats were fine then comes beta, stats don't work some times on beta stats down.

after i installed the beta about a week later my bf2 said invalid cd key (ty ea download[er]) i think beta is bad.....

now i cant find my SF cd's so i cant play those maps o well

Since its a beta and my thoughts are the beta cause a huge queue in the system which crashed the stats server, it will most likely be fixed with a patch along with the release of the official tampa map.
