I may be mistaken, but I believe this game is a turned base wargame.zeidmaan wrote:

Its NOT one of those RTS games where you build a base, gather resources, build 200 tanks, split them to 5 groups and demolish everything thats red on the map. Im not a fan of those "strategies". This one looks to be more mature.
It has both option. You can play it RTS style but with slower pace and less size combats than standard RTS games. By that I (or they) mean that you wont destroy 500 enemy tanks and 300 planes during one mission.The_Mac wrote:

But it can also be played turn-based style but little different from most games. You issue orders to your units and than the game plays on for one minutes and your units do what they were ordered. Than the game stops and you issue another set of orders. Im interested to see how that will work out. Im more of a fan of turn based strategies than RTS but I never played this style.
roller coaster tycoon!

To be blunt, the game looks like shit, in terms of PC games, but I guess it's good for the xbox 360...trackstarr wrote:

I just like the idea of a fps with great squad control, control of mortars, bazooka crews, and squads.
No running and gunning because you'd be dead within the first 3 minutes
I'm sorry, but were you referring to Brothers in Arms or Army of Two? I'm a bit confused.trackstarr wrote:

Trackstar is talking about Brothers in Arms and Mac is talking about Army of Two. And you are both right. BiA is one of the best single player FPS that I ever played and Army of Two looks like one of those "Im Rambo, I can take 50 bullets and wont even twitch" games.The_Mac wrote:

I agree, gaming has gone down hill.... CSS is the only game I enjoy playing now. And I rage when my PC chokes to bad on it
WoW
Pokemon
Nah, you just haven't found the right games man. Battlefield 2, I played the demo when it first came out, and I was would have gotten the game, but my PC wouldn't be able to handle it. So I played the demo for 6 months before getting a new rig in June 2006. Battlefield 2 is my most played game even with games like Oblivion (awesome game btw, but you need an x1800xt or equivalent--x1800xt + and you get Anti Aliasing and HDR, something not available on nVidia DX9 Graphics cards), Age of Empires 3 (I was addicted to that game), Medieval 2 Total War(amazing fun, pwning as the Scots is pwnage), Company of Heroes (one of the best damned RTSs ever) etc.gene_pool wrote:

That's pretty much my library of *modern* games.

Brothers in Arms does look good, but the squad combat looks a bit of a drag for me, and I'd rather have it like CoD and MoH, where I'm working with them, rather than commanding them. But maybe this would be fun, I'll check out the demo.
Yeah but Moh and Cod is too much run and gun
