Does anyone have a link that would describe the rules ranked servers have to abide by? I know "knife/pistol only" servers aren't allowed per se, but what about friendly fire off, or forcing players to abide by server set gameplay rules like no base rape etc...?
Hmmm good question. I've seen ranked servers with FF off. I don't see why that would be a No No...It really doesn't effect stats or awards. In fact it probably prevents some form of stat padding...
Other than not support cheats/glitchers/exploitation of game mechanics...The rules are up to you. Base raping is part of any online game...I suggest trying to enforce no base raping uncappables though...No extreme bunny hopping/dolphin diving...No stealing vehicles...that kinda thing.

Well, with FF off you can use c4 to boost teammates to otherwise unreachable areas, also it is sorta stat padding since you can hop in a bomber and spam away without worrying about punishment. I just wonder where the limit is on server administration on ranked servers.
also, you can get your explosives badge without dying alot lol
i was playing in a server the other day... I happen to be in one that said no spawncamping, base raping, blah blah blah. Anyway, i had both admin in the game. had a guy in a BH on the carrier... no spawn points cause i didnt have the best team, but sometimes that happens, we deal with it. well he was sitting in that thing, just killing us.. left and right. i asked for a kick from both admin, they said oh, yeah doing it now...... nothing, still nothing, i quit spawning after the 4th kill. waited, nothing NEXT ROUND, still there, pissed i left...
I dont get half of these admins and i think some of you others know how i feel. sorry just had to get this off my chest. aaaahhhhhhh
