Hey,
I borrowed my friends copy of BF2 and special forces so we could play each other. I soon discovered we can't use the same serials. So i played on the internet with his serial for a month now and i have made an account etc and got unlocks etc. I bought the BF2 Complete collection today (Bf2, Special forces, Euro, Armed) So i need to uninstall Bf2 and special forces. How can i do this without losing my account and preferences?

just uninstall the one you used

Did you write your user name and password down, so you can use it on your newly installed game. Are you going to use ur friends user name and password. Click on the I have an existing user name and password check box or something like that.

Or nm just install additional components leave the current bf2 installed, and everything will work out like that you dont have to uninstall anything unless you are planning to get a new account.

I need to uninstall both Special forces and Bf2. both are is serials.

i have my username and password.

can i just uninstall both games and reinstall it?

When it asks me if i want to remove profiles do i just not tick the box?

well if you want to remove his profile when uninstalling remove it click on remove profile

or you can just leave his profile and create a new profile...

If it asks you if you want to remove profile, say no that way when you install a new version of bf2, you'll still have his account name I think. That way your hard drive will retain profile information about your previous bf2 experience so when in future you try to install bf2 you have a copy of the profile.

his account isnt on my computer. i just used his disks/serial. i dont have the disk anymore so do i just move the bf2 folder in my documents to somewhere else and put it back there after the new install? (i will need to remove it with the Microsoft's program) If i do loose it all can i still use my account on the new install?

yes if you have a user name and password, as long you know those 2 you'll be fine, just uninstall the previous game. when you install the new game you have top specify that you already have an account then it will ask you to fill out some information to get the username and the password.

Also someone else help this guy out.....
