Anyone else here play?

One of the best RPGs ever.

Trial works until you get to level 6 then you can restart or buy a serial for $22 which is really worth it. Theres also a large variety of mods ranging from Lord of the Rings to Star Wars. If this had multiplayer it would be awesome.

I joined in the war with the Swerwhatever guys against the Vaegrs then I went around massacring vaegr armies with my band of assorted guys. Mostly I play the LOTR mod though, it really expands on the game and has much better combats and stuff. You can break into cities to rescue a captured companion and join in or start massive battles. You can go around doing missions for the leaders of cities and in a few cities theres companions to add to your army that level up like you. The new influence system is also nice. After a few ingame days the whole world is patrolled by enemies and allies in groups of 50 and sometimes you see Greater Hosts with over 100 powerful men and generals. It also has a better faction morale system and stuff but Im also a big fan of LOTR so that helps too. http://forums.taleworlds.net/index.php?topic=5204.0 is the link if your interested.

I tried it a while ago and I must say that it was a great game.

I only had the trial, but when I started out, I played something like this-

-Get sword capable of stabbing and slashing
-Get horse
-find bandit parties
-kill bandit parties
-take a club that is bound to be in a bandit's inventory
-club everyone I come across and sell to the guy at the salt mines
-use cash for better horse/armour/weapons

Also, I could not have done ANYTHING in this game w/o my trusty steed. I can take on 3 horsemen and 8 bandits alone no problem while on horseback.
But as soon as you're on the ground against horses, you're in trouble.
